Baneasa: forest, space, airport
West of the school, Baneasa suits families who fly often, the airport is minutes away, and who want land and trees around the house. Villas run at roughly 2,500 to 4,000 euro per square metre, and the drive to AISB is 10 to 15 minutes against light traffic.
Herastrau and Aviatiei: apartment living
Families who prefer the city over the suburbs choose apartments around Herastrau park or in Aviatiei. Herastrau offers premium apartments at roughly 4,500 to 7,000 euro per square metre to buy, or 1,500 to 6,500 euro per month to rent, with the park as a daily garden. Aviatiei is the practical option: newer mid range apartments, quick access to both the school and the northern business district. The AISB drive from either is 15 to 25 minutes depending on the hour, and school transport covers these areas.
